INFORMATION OF IWAKI SEASIDE NATURE CENTER

IWAKI SEASIDE NATURE CENTER is an educational institution where children and the youth can have various experienses living a natural environment to help develop wellrounded personalities and strong bodies.
This center opened to general public on July 23, 1996.

INFORMATION

Introduction　of　Iwaki　seaside　nature　centerThis center;visitors can experience nature in sea and forest ,has started since1996.Constitution of this center is universal design .
In restaurant,seeing the beautiful Pacifi cocean view, you can enjoy eating delicious meals. In this center, visitors can stay main building, 10 cottages and campsite.
The main building has 300 people in 32 rooms.Cottages have 160 people. Campsite has 100 people. About 75,000 people can stay every year.

FACILITIESThis center has a lodging capacity of 300 persons in the Main Building, 150 persons in the Lodge and 100 persons in the Campsite.USERSThis center can be used by groups of school students,school staffs and other organizations such as leaders of education for youth , groups of adults and families.COSTS In the room charge, the child is 500 yen, and the adult is 1000 yen.
The meal price is as follows by three foods. The meal price of less than three years old is 1100 yen.The meal price of less than junior high school student is 1400 yen.The meal price more than the junior high school student is 1450 yen.
The charge for cleaning sheets is \130 in the Main Buiding and the Lodge, \55 in the Campsite.

Adventure in forest：This activity gives opportunities for all to enjoy nature every season.Nature games：There are various games playing in the nature and understanding the environment.Orienteering：Looklng for point signboard in the forest on the map.Outdoors cooking：Cooking curry wlth rlce and barbecue outdoors.Campfire：Activities of games and dances surroundlng blaze at nlght.Night hiking：You can hike in the night forest wlth Japanese lantern. You can be full of adventure.Mountain bike and cycling：Being various lanes, this activity is very popular.Fishing and playing in the stony shore：You can enjoy fishing and watching small fish , crab marine plants and so on.Making and rowing rafts：You must make rafts with six big tire tubes and woods. Then you can row the rafts in the sea.Kraft：There are various crafts. For example, wood crafts, hanging with shell, stone art, 　 flying cylinde rmade of plastic board.
